2016/17 Cyclone Season is here.
The South West Pacific tropical weather is beginning to get active again. We now see the second low of the season brewing in the Coral Sea (on the 25/11/2016) and heading in our general direction.
Take a look at your favorite weather forecast website and keep a watchful eye on the weather for tropical activity every day from now on. We use the Vanuatu Met Office website to monitor activity and for forecasting, we like the sites windytv.com and passageweather.com
TAKE ACTION TO PROTECT YOUR BOAT TODAY!
We use structural steel cradles for cyclone storage which is recognized by all the major insurance providers. We will send details to your insurers if they request more information. If you are not insured then you have even more reason to haul out as soon as possible.
Vessels stored at the Port Vila Boatyard suffered ZERO DAMAGE from cat 5 cyclone “PAM” in 2015.
We are taking LAST MINUTE cyclone season storage bookings NOW as we have limited space remaining.
It’s time to be prepared. Don’t be caught out (in) the water!
